Danfoss 117U5017 Start capacitor
- This helps overcome the initial inertia and helps the motor start rotating. Start capacitors are often use in conjunction with a centrifugal switch. The switch disconnects the start capacitor from the motor circuit once the motor reaches approximately 75-80% of its full speed. This prevents the capacitor from staying in the circuit continuously, as it is not needed during normal running conditions
